Chili Fest 2012 Rules and Terms
Disclaimer:
By attending Chili Fest 2012 your hereby, for yourself, your heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, and anyone entitled to act on your behalf release and discharge Aliquity,Inc. and sponsors, their representative and successor, prompters, managers, directors, officials, agents, employees, and volunteers of the event from any and all claims of injury or liabilities of any kind, illness, or damages, suffered by me, as a result of my participation in or traveling to or from this event. You also give your permission for the free use of your name and picture in any written account, broadcast or telecast of this event for any legitimate purpose.
Registration Deadline:
All entrants are required to submit their application and pay their entry fee by Thursday February 23rd. Late registration fee = $35.00. If the entry fee is not paid the application will be revoked and no spot will be saved.
Chili Cook off Rules:
- Entrants are require to provide around 2 gallons of chili, entrants are responsible for filling each attendees bowl, if an entrant runs out of chili attendees will no longer be able to taste their entry and therefore can not vote for said entry. Bowls will be provided to attendees.
- Entrants may begin setup/ cooking at 10am on event day on event location. Preparing your chili on site is not a requirement, but it adds to the fun!
- Judging will be based on Attendees votes, there will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place as well as a worse overall award.
- Times for voting and judging may be subject to change in order to keep the event flexible.
- Entrants will need to provide your own source of energy, I.E propane or charcoal grill. If using an open flame entrants are required to provide a source to extinguish said open flame.
- Tables will not be provided, entrants must supply ALL items required to serve and prepare their chili, the only items provided by Aliquity will provide bowls and spoons for Attendees.
- At the discretion of any Aliquity Organizer, chili cooks may be required to remove the lids from their chili cups and taste their chili before allowing it to be served to Attendees.
- No chili contestant may discharge firearms or use any pyrotechnics or explosives at a chili cook-off. Contestants discharging firearms and/or using explosives or other pyrotechnics will be disqualified from the chili cook-off.
- All entrants must act in a civil and orderly manner, any misconduct in any form can and will not be tolerated and entrant will be removed from the premises and disqualified from event. It is important to remember that this will be a fun and enjoyable event and all in attendance will do their best to maintain a safe environment for everyone.
